We review the new Harrows Glen Durrant signature darts!

Glen Durrant has been maturing as a dart player, like a fine wine, we have had to wait a while to see the finished article. You could see he had the quality but he also seemed to always be the nearly man. He admitted himself he was worried he may not possess the bottle to go all the way in a big tournament.

Then 2015 came along! A semi-final spot at Lakeside was followed up by  winning the Winmau World Masters in Hull

and more recently the Finder Darts Masters in the Netherlands. Duzza has also picked up a number of BDO tournament wins throughout the year too.

To top all this he has now released his own signature darts. Harrows have released the 90% tungsten Duzza Darts today (11 December 2015). Our sets have arrived and this is what we think of them.

The darts are around 49mm long. The diameter is 6.5mm and 6.53mm on the rear part of the dart where there aren’t any grooves. The 11 grooves that make up the front of the barrel and the three grooves at the rear pack more of a grip punch than they look.

A lot of these style of darts tend to be a fairly smooth finish but the deep cut grooves on Duzza’s darts offer a really nice resistance to your fingers. The grooving right to the back end of the dart is great for players who rest their fingers to the back of the dart, this extra support will aid a smoother release for these players.

The front of the dart has a bull nose finish to it. Standard black points have also been fitted. In the pack the darts come loaded with “Duzza” pear shaped signature flights and black supergrip medium ringed stems.

The darts are priced at £24.50 and for the quality represent good value for money. You can do the DUZZA shuffle to our shop to get your set here!
