The world went Fallon Sherrock crazy and there were 8 more games at the palace.

The media world went Fallon crazy yesterday with a match against Piers Morgan and a blue tick of recognition from Twitter being amongst the highlights for her

It was good to see the BDO not so much jumping on the women players  bandwagon as it is the PDC/Sky that have done that, but in a rare flash of marketing genius from the BDO they pointed out that Fallon and a good number of equally talented ladies will be playing at the O2 in the World Pro. Tickets here!

So, it was back to business at the palace. Meulenkamp, Asada, Big H and Bunty progressing. It was a strange day for us as our former sponsored player Diogo Portela was playing. For the last 2 years we have been helping with his preparation and paperwork and been there on the night with a back stage pass to support him.

This year I was in front of the fire on my sofa watching and Diogo looked out of sorts and not firing like he can. Part and Mardle queried why Diogo was popping his hand in his pocket after each throw and wondered if it was wax.

In fact it was a hand warmer. Before going on stage the players are taken to a waiting area to prepare for the walk on. It is cold there and we made sure Diogo had hand warmers the past two years and he clearly went with that idea again. Our friends at Mission Darts brought out a range recently which you can get from the DPC shop. A good investment!

The cursing German, Nico Kruz, who was so ******* happy to win gave us a good laugh with his singular Sky interview technique and Payne, Big Ben and James Wade also all progressed.
